The City of Lafayette invites residents to enjoy the outdoors and learn about how to protect the Earth, fight climate change, and create a more sustainable Lafayette.
This family-friendly event will have a variety of opportunities for all ages to enjoy.
- Shop at a Sustainable Makers Market
- Tour our Outdoor Classroom with a new interactive app
- Jeff and Paige Science and Nature-Themed Kids Concert: 10 -11am
- Dawn Songs Poetry Reading: 11:30am-12pm
- Live Wild Animal Programs: 12-1pm
- Take a ride on an energy bike and make yourself a slushie
- Eat cookies made from a solar oven
- Learn from electric vehicle owners
- Raffles and prizes
- Scavenger hunts
