Is a permit required for a banner or temporary sign?

A permit is required for a temporary sign or temporary banner. Download the sign permit application. Submit your completed application by email to planning@lafayetteco.gov or fax to 303-665-2153 or drop off in the City’s Dropbox/Pickup Box located just to the left of the front doors of City Hall at 1290 S Public Road.  Allow two to three days for processing. The Building Division will contact you when your sign permit is ready and let you know what your fee is and how to make a payment.
