1. Can I wash my car?

Yes. Washing cars at your home is allowed, but we strongly suggest that cars be taken to commercial car washes where recycled water is used. Hoses used to wash vehicles must be equipped with an automatic shutoff nozzle. Rinsing of paved surfaces (driveways, sidewalks, parking lots, etc.) after washing a vehicle is prohibited according to the Water Conservation Ordinance and is harmful to our creeks and streams.

2. Can I install/lay/plant new sod?

Yes, there currently are no restrictions.

3. Can I seed my new lawn?

Yes, there currently are no restrictions.

4. Can I patch a small area of my existing lawn?

Yes. The patching of a pre-existing lawn is allowed.

5. Can I plant a flower or vegetable garden?

Yes. The planting of flower and/or vegetable gardens is allowed. Please follow watering guidelines- no outdoor irrigation between the hours of 10am and 6pm, hand-watering is permitted with a garden hose equipped with an automatic shutoff nozzle. 6. Can I plant new trees or shrubs?

Yes. The planting of new trees and/or shrubs is allowed. Please follow watering guidelines- no outdoor irrigation between the hours of 10am and 6pm, hand-watering is permitted with a garden hose equipped with an automatic shutoff nozzle.

7. Can I use a rain barrel to collect water?

Precipitation collection is allowed on residential properties under certain conditions. Please refer to the Colorado Division of Water Resources Rainwater & Stormwater page for more information.

8. Can I fill my swimming pool?

Yes.

9. I have a well, can I irrigate using that?

Yes, but we encourage you not to water between the hours of 10am and 6pm.
