Free meals weekdays at the Library

In a bid to strengthen community ties and address nutritional needs, the Lafayette Public Library has become a distribution location for the regional Meals on Wheels Program. Located at 775 W. Baseline Road, the Library is now providing pre-packaged hot meals and snack bags to the public from Monday to Friday, between 11am and noon (while supplies last).

This effort is designed to provide support to people in the community, regardless of their age. The goal is to make sure that each person has access to at least one meal and a snack bag. By participating in this program, the City of Lafayette is not only promoting a feeling of togetherness but also actively contributing to the overall health and welfare of its residents. Read a blog post about the program.
