Mental Health and Human Services Committee Grant Recommendations

Copy of MHHS Advisory Board recruitment_NF

In 2021, Lafayette voters supported a 0.1% sales and use tax increase to provide funding assistance to nonprofit organizations that provide mental health and human services (MHHS) to Lafayette residents. In July, a seven-member MHHS Advisory Committee was appointed to review grant applications from area service providers and make funding recommendations to City Council.

Residents are invited to submit written comments to Alexander Nelson by email at alexander.nelson@lafayetteco.gov or review the MHHS Advisory Committee’s work and recommendations by attending an upcoming public meeting on:

  • Monday, Sept. 18
  • Monday, Oct. 9
  • Thursday, Oct. 19

Location: Meetings will be held in person from 6pm at Lafayette City Hall, 1290 S. Public Road, Lafayette, CO 80026.
