[ARCHIVED] Host an event in a City park using the Park Shelter Rental system

Whitetail shelter

Throughout the year folks around town love hosting parties, celebrations and other gatherings in City parks. While all City parks are available for public use, only select parks with picnic shelters may be reserved. Those parks are LaMont Does Park, Waneka Lake Park, and Whitetail Park. Multiple shelters are available to rent at each location.

For safety considerations and to keep these parks in good condition for the entire public, some use restrictions are in place, e.g., jumping castles must receive special approval prior reservation approval. Having a good understanding of the rules and regulations for park usage is a smart way to ensure your party is a great success.

All reservations and facility rental permits are handled through the Recreation Administration Office at the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center or at the City's website (look for the Park Shelter Rentals link on the lefthand side of the homepage). Office hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm. Please call 303-665-4206 with any questions.
