In an effort to combat the prolification of nuisance mosquitoes and to fight mosquito-borne disease, Colorado Mosquito Control will perform mosquito control at Waneka Lake and Blue Heron Reservoir. Ground-based ULV (ultra-low volume) adult mosquito control at Waneka Lake the evening of Wednesday, June 5 after 10 PM. Backpack spraying near Blue Heron Lake will occur on Thursday, June 6 mid-day to late-afternoon. All control practices are subject to weather restricitons.
