Holiday season crime prevention tips

During the holiday season, crime can have a slight increase.  This is due, in part, to shoppers carrying more cash and credit cards with them while shopping, shopping later than usual, or leaving valuables in vehicles. It’s also common to be preoccupied with a lot on our mind, overly relaxed, or even wrapped up in good cheer; either way these scenarios can leave us slightly more distracted and vulnerable. Criminals rely on distractions.  Be aware of holiday season risks so you can better protect yourself.
