Lafayette welcomes Medtronic

Medtronic groundbreaking

The City of Lafayette is proud to welcome Medtronic to our community. The 42-acre campus is situated on the east side of Hwy 287; north of Dillon Road and south of the Exempla Hospital complex. Phase One will house 1,100 employees and is anticipated to be complete 4th quarter 2022.

Seven decades ago, the Medtronic co-founder invented the battery-powered pacemaker. Today, they are among the largest medical device companies in the world. With operations in 150 countries, their products treat 70 health conditions and include cardiac devices, cranial and spine robotics, insulin pumps, surgical tools, patient monitoring systems, and more. Their therapies help 72 million people a year and support a mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.

Lafayette is excited to be home to the largest private employer in Boulder County, and to provide additional new employment opportunities for the community.
