[ARCHIVED] Don't let your pipes freeze during the cold winter months with these simple tips

Follow these tips to help prevent the water lines in your home from freezing:
•Open cabinet doors under sinks
•Let your faucets drip
•Insulate pipes
•Don’t go for long periods of time (10-12 hours) without running water

If you suspect a pipe in your home is frozen, please contact the Public Works Department (Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm) at 303-665-5588 x3328. For issues after hours and on weekends, please call Boulder County Dispatch at 303-441-4444 for assistance.
