[ARCHIVED] Citizens' Police Academy

Attending the Citizen's Police Academy will provide participants sessions on such topics as criminal law, crime prevention, SWAT Team, crime scene investigation, traffic enforcement, dispatching, bicycle patrol, the K-9 unit, use of force, felony car stops and even provides an opportunity for hands on a firearms simulator. There are too many topics to list! The academy runs Wednesday evenings, 6PM-9PM, for 9 weeks at the Lafayette Police Department.
