In February the Lafayette City Council participated in a bi-annual goal setting session to discuss an extensive list of potential goals for 2014 and 2015. This exercise allows Council the opportunity to prioritize the projects they deem most important and provide cohesive implementation direction for staff.
“We are excited to add some dynamic new initiatives to our slate this year revolving around increased energy sustainability, historic preservation, capital campaigns and economic development,” said Mayor Christine Berg. “By prioritizing the City’s most pressing opportunities we will be able to accomplish some very crucial and worthwhile projects.”
