Artist and toolmaker Phillip David Stearns built a custom HD analog audio-video synth and housed it in an old Nintendo Gameboy case. He will perform with the synth, as well as discuss the process of creating it.
The exhibit Sync is presented by Signal Culture and the Lafayette Electronic Arts Festival

The Lafayette Electronic Arts Festival is excited to present Sync, an exhibition of video art, prints, and textile pieces at The Collective Community Arts Center. Featured in this show are alumni of the experimental media arts residency Signal Culture, which recently relocated to Loveland. The artists featured, Yvonne Buchanan, Monica Duncan & Senem Pirler, LoVid, and Phillip David Stearns all have internationally recognized careers. Much of the work in the exhibit was created in part through their time as artists or toolmakers in residence at Signal Culture.
