Arts Outside

Full Description

Arts Out Side Logo - CopyArts Outside offered by the Lafayette Arts & Cultural Resources and the Lafayette Open Space & Parks Divisions. Space is limited and RSVP is required for all of these programs. 
Lafayette Open Space naturalist, Martin Ogle, will provide participants a brief introduction to the area’s natural history and offer insights and ID’s informally during the event.     

Arts Outside:  Photography with Gerry Morrell

Friday, May 14 at 6:30 pm, at Waneka Lake (East Parking Lot)
OR
Thursday, July 22 at 6:30pm.  

Adult workshop: Join acclaimed photographer Gerry Morrell on an unique end of day photo shoot/stroll. Martin Ogle, Lafayette Open Space naturalist, will answer questions and connect us with the nature we encounter around us.

Spaces are limited to 20 people and sign-up is required for this program. COVID precautions will be in place. Masks and social distancing encouraged. Registration begins May 1.

Bring water, a camera or camera phone and bug repellent if needed. In addition to your mask wear sun screen and comfortable, sturdy shoes.

The Nature of Poetry, The Poetry of Nature
An Arts Outside Workshop

Join naturalist Martin Ogle and poet Karen Douglass to connect with the environment that sustains us through poetry. We will read some poems, write some, and learn about our surroundings along the Coal Creek Trail, June 27, 2021, 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Meet at the South Public Road Coal Creek Trail parking lot at 8:45 a.m.
Please bring your own writing tools and paper, light-weight portable seating, water bottles, sunscreen, and bug repellent. Open to those who are at least 16 years old.
