Business Licenses

Requirements

All businesses engaged in business in the City of Lafayette are required to register for a City Sales and Use Tax license.  

City Sales and Use Tax License

In addition to a City Sales and Use Tax License, certain local businesses must apply for the following regulatory/special business licenses, as applicable:

• Liquor License and Special Event Liquor License 
• Marijuana Business License
• Massage Parlor License
• Pawn Broker License and Amusement Device License
