The Bob L. Burger Recreation Center (BBRC) has adjusted operations to meet the current COVID-19 health guidelines. The BBRC is open, and our friendly Front Desk staff is ready to welcome you! We've updated our processes to make your time with us safe and easy to navigate.

Daily drop-in visits to the BBRC are welcomed.

What can I expect when I walk into the BBRC?

Please check-in at the Front Desk. Pay or have your pass scanned. Punch cards can be purchased online

COVID-19 safety rules and guidelines

  • Face coverings are required per Boulder County Public Health order. Masks must be worn in all indoor public spaces regardless of vaccination status. All staff members are also required to wear masks. Please be respectful and kind to others. 
  • Stay home if you don’t feel well or have been around someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Clean all equipment you used during your visit. There are multiple cleaning stations throughout the facility.
  • Facility cleaning: Staff cleans the facility frequently throughout the day including equipment and lockers. All high touchpoints including light switches, doorknobs, benches/chairs, etc. are cleaned by the custodial day porter.
  • Leave valuables at home. Please do not leave valuables in your car or in an unlocked locker.
  • Free admissions for personal assistants or caregivers. You do not have to pay for admissions if you are a caregiver providing personal care for a person with a disability.
  • Bring your water bottle. Guests are encouraged to bring their own water bottles.
  • Use the hand sanitizer available throughout the facility.
  • Bring your own lock. Locks are not available for check out. 
  • Bring your own towel. Towel service is not offered. 
  • Checkout equipment is limited. Basketballs and racquetball racquets are available for checkout. Personal equipment may be used to reduce equipment sharing, such as racquetballs, yoga mats, etc.
  • Purchase items online. We encourage touchless transactions via online purchases
  • Social distancing is encouraged by all staff and patrons.
