Lafayette Arts & Cultural Resources Department, in conjunction with the Lafayette Cultural Arts Commission and the Public Art Committee, offers a variety of diverse programming. Most of these events are free and open to the public. Some require pre-registration.

Lost & Found: Art with Found Objects

This group exhibition features artwork made from recycled and/or found objects.

Art Table To Go Kits

Sign up for a kit
Pick up your kit during any hours the Collective is open. Complete your art project at home. Suited for all ages. Most materials included. Some household items may be needed.

Currently available:

  • Found Object Art Kit - Make your very own mixed media collage.  You can add your own found objects to create something truly unique.  *Small parts.  This project is not appropriate for small children.
  • Articulated Figure Kit - Make a creative, articulated animal figure. Includes supplies and instructions for assembly. Medium level still available.
  • Birds, Birds, Birds! - Make a sweet little string of colorful paper birds, and learn about local avian life, with our mini "Field Guide to Lafayette Birds!" 
  • Watercolor Fun - A basic watercolor kit including paint, brushes, and a couple pieces of watercolor paper. Find watercolor tutorials on our YouTube channel.
