The Fire Department provides the assessment, treatment, and transport of the sick and injured. This is achieved by our one paramedic engine company and our two ambulances with advanced life support staff and equipment.
At a minimum, our paramedics maintain certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Stroke Life Support. 65 to 70% of the department's calls for service are medical in nature. It is a part of our job that truly makes a difference in the lives of people every day.
