The Training Division is responsible for providing ongoing training to all personnel so all minimum level certifications are met and kept current. The Training Division also ensures that working with our neighboring departments is seamless and safe by training and working together. The Division also promotes out-of-department trainings, conferences, and seminars to keep personnel current on latest trends, equipment, techniques, fire ground strategy and tactics, as well as ensuring that we are providing the most up-to-date delivery of fire and rescue services to the residents of Lafayette.
