File A Police Report

If you need to report an emergency, call 911.  DO NOT use these forms to report an emergency or crime in progress.

Call our Dispatch Center at 303-441-4444 to file a police report over the phone or request an officer respond to your location (for non-emergencies only).

Certain incidents can be reported online.  Lost property, theft, harassment or vandalism, in which there are no known suspects, can be reported online. Any incident in which there is suspect information cannot be reported online.  Online police reports rarely require an officer to contact you directly, however you will be contacted by the police department and provided a case report number.

Non-emergency police reports may also be initiated via email, mail, fax or counter.  A mail/counter report will result in officer assistance.  Mail/counter reports can be submitted either in person (over-the-counter), email, mail or fax.  Unlike an online police report, an officer will always contact you directly if you submit a mail/counter report.
