Lafayette Businesses Join Partners for a Clean Environment

Since 2010, 160 Lafayette businesses have benefited from PACE services, resulting in 301 upgrades. Over $928,000 has been invested in energy efficiency by Lafayette businesses. Call an advisor to help find resources and answer questions. 

Lafayette Green Business Recognition Program

All business and commercial property owners in Lafayette are invited to participate to showcase and celebrate their sustainability accomplishments. The City of Lafayette, the Lafayette Energy Sustainable Advisory Committee (LESAC), the Lafayette Waste Reduction Advisory Committee (WRAC), Xcel Energy and Boulder County’s Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE) have partnered to offer the recognition opportunity.

PACE provides one-on-one assistance to businesses to complete their applications and to implement their chosen sustainable business actions. This year, businesses will have access to PACE’s new sustainable transportation advising, including assistance to business owners to find grants for workplace electric vehicle charging stations, helping to set up transit passes for employees, increasing waste diversion, and more. Advisors can also help businesses benchmark their energy use to understand measured energy use and prioritize investments. This also enables businesses to easily track their energy use from year to year.
