The overall Silo Subdivision Final Planned Unit Development (PUD) and Final Plat for Filing No. 1 were approved by City Council in October 2017 for 478 single-family (including accessory dwelling units), two-family, and multi-family homes; up to 20,000 square feet of commercial space and a 9,000 square foot community building. Filing No. 1 on the south portion of the property includes 112 home sites. Filing No. 2 would contain the balance.
This 80-acre parcel located on the south side of Arapahoe Road approximately 1/4 mile west of Highway 287 is designed at a "net zero" neighborhood. Lennar Homes purchased some of the lots in 2019.
- The project Sketch Plan and Rezoning were approved in December 2015.
- The Annexation application was approved in May 2016.
- The Silo Preliminary Plan was approved by the Planning Commission in November 2016.
- The Silo Final PUD and Final Plat for Filing No. 1 were approved by City Council on October 17, 2017.
- February 2021: Currently under review are changes to a small area (less than 10%) of Filing No. 1/Phase 1 to shift some lot lines, easements, and rights-of-way. The changes affect the Final PUD, Site Plan, and Final Plat.
