Firefighter Storytime
Thursday, May 26, 10:30am
Preschoolers and caregivers - listen to one of Lafayette's firefighters read stories and sing songs, and visit the fire truck! -
Sensory Storytime
Friday, June 10 and Friday, July 8, 10:30am
Kids and caregivers - join us for a special storytime designed for individuals that are neurodiverse and/or have sensory needs. Storytime will be structured and include singing, and books read by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Sensory toys will be available for any child that needs them. This storytime is suited for ages 2-8. -
Drag Queen Storytime
Saturday, June 11, 11am
Kids and families -come dressed in your finest for a special storytime featuring local drag queen Shirley Delta Blow. Drag Queen Storytime captures the imagination and gender fluidity of childhood play and shows children that people come in all shapes, sizes, and forms! -
Twilight Tales: Stories in the Stars
Tuesday, June 21, 7:30pm
All ages welcome! Join us at Ofelia Miramontes Park (next to the Library) to hear a few stories about the stars, and experience the sky through a telescope! -
Event and Storytime at Coal Creek
Saturday, June 25 , 11am-1pm
All ages - please join us for a special "Who are the Critters in your Neighborhood?" storytime and community nature event at Coal Creek Trail.>We will gather at the trailhead at S. Public Road for storytime, followed by a walk along the Coal Creek Trail (headed west along the trail towards Highway 287).
