Fall Storytimes (starting Sept. 12)

  1. Monday

    10:30am: Social Emotional Circle Time with Mental Health Partners
    Kids ages 3-5 and their caregivers. Join us in the Kid Zone for stories and activities to support social-emotional learning. Developed by Kid Connects in the Neighborhood with Mental Health Partners, this programcovers identifying emotions, and how to cope with big feelings. Learn more

  2. Tuesday

    10:30am: Babies
    Enjoy songs and stories for babies birth-24 months and their caregivers. This is also a great way to connect with other parents and caregivers of young children.

  3. Wednesday 

    10:30am: Families 
    Stories, songs, rhymes, and fun designed for toddlers and active walkers through preschool age. 

  4. Thursday

    10:30am: Families 
    Join us in the Kid Zone for bilingual stories and activities.

Special Storytimes

  1. Pop-Up Storytime at the Econ-O-Wash

    Tuesdays, Oct. 11 and Oct. 25, 10:30-11:30am
    Families - join us for a bilingual Storytime with activities at the Econ-O-Wash, located at 410 E Simpson St.

  2. Special Bilingual Twilight Tales: Cuenta Cuentos con la Naturalista Juanita Eheverri de OSMP

    Tuesday, Oct. 18, 6pm - Lower Level Meeting Room
    Families - join us for a special seasonal bilingual Twilight Tales, "Cuenta Cuentos det Otoño con la Naturalista Juanita Echeverri de OSMP" (Fall Tale Tell with Naturalist Juanita Echeverri of Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks). Stories, songs, rhymes, and fun for all. Wear your PJs and bring your adult!

  3. Sensory Storytime and Trick or Treat!

    Saturday, Oct. 22, 10:30am - Meeting Room (lower-level)
    Kids and caregivers - join us for a special storytime designed for individuals that are neurodiverse and/or have sensory needs. Storytime will be structured and include singing, and books read by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Sensory toys will be available for any child that needs them. This storytime is suited for ages 2-8. 

    On Oct. 22, wear your costume and visit each service desk to trick or treat for bookmarks and other items! 

  4. Pop-Up Spooky Storytime at the Rec

    Saturday, Oct. 22, 6pm
    All ages Spooky Storytime at the Lafayette Fall Festival at the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center. Learn more about Fall Fest.

  5. Basho & Friends Day of the Dead Storytime and Music 

    Saturday, Oct. 29, 10:30-11:30am and noon-12:45pm
    Families - welcome Basho & Friends for stories and music twice during our annual Day of the Dead/Día De Los Muertos Celebration. While you are here, enjoy face painting, make sugar skulls and other crafts, and view the traditional memorial altars and pocket altars on display. View the full schedule of events
