Although the Lafayette Public Library is now open for browsing, holds pickup, and computer use, in-person programming remains subject to capacity and health guidelines. At this time, neither Library-sponsored or independent book groups are meeting in person at the Library.
We are currently offering our Teen Collection Connection and LafayetteREADS adults and teens discussions by Zoom. Learn more about this year's LafayetteREADS theme.
Library-Sponsored Book Discussion Groups
LafayetteREADS is a quarterly reading and discussion group, under the umbrella of Lafayette Public Library. We select fiction and nonfiction books that are not only great reads, but that are relevant to today’s issues.
On The Same Page is an annual community read, where members of Lafayette, Louisville, and Superior all read the same book. A new book is chosen each summer, with book discussions and performances held in the fall.
When These groups meet at the Library or other community locations, and are open to the public. New members are welcome.
Independent groups have not yet resumed using the Library for meetings. The independent book group calendar, and information on forming your own group, will be restored to this page once regular programming resumes.
